About The Position
We are currently seeking a motivated DZ Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Ottawa, ON. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- A valid DZ driver's license with cleaning driving abstract and CVOR
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable about towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Able to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- A valid towing certificate
Responsibilities
- Safely transporting customers' vehicles from point of pick up to the branch
- Maintaining accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
- Performing labouring tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
- Providing our customers with excellent customer service!
