About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a Full Time Transport / Tow Truck Driver. The Tow Truck driver will be responsible for receiving towing requests via an electronic application and providing transport services for collision or mechanically damaged cars. The candidate must be comfortable operating heavy machinery, work in inclement weather with potential exposure to the elements, and be able to lift more than 50 pounds at times. The pay for this position is $26/hr and is located at 778 Burlway Road Burlingame, CA 94010. This position requires a California driver's license and does not allow for any other paid employment (No Moonlighting). Training will be provided, and the candidate must pass a tow truck driver-specific curriculum and testing.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have 12 months work experience double towing.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a California driver's license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations.
Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination (Certification for at least 6 months) in addition to drug testing as well as random drug and alcohol testing as regulated by the Federal Transit Authority.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the tow truck, equipment and all accessories.
Hook and tie down cars for transport following outlined procedures and guidelines.
Transport cars between dealerships, body shops, branches and auctions as requested.
Keep track of time and transports for billing.
