Requirements

• Truck driving experience is a requirement.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations is beneficial.
• Must be customer service and goal oriented, self-motivated, possess initiative and need minimal supervision.
• Must have a strong work history.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid CDL A license with current medical card; and also a satisfactory CSA score.
• A clear accident record the last three years and free of moving violations is a requirement.
• Candidate must also be able to pass a DOT physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.

Nice To Haves

• Towing experience is preferred, but will train.

Responsibilities

• Receives call or is dispatched to location by supervisor.
• Attaches anti-sway bar to vehicle by means of cable, chains, or other grappling devices to tow vehicle to repair shop, Prime Inc. terminal, or other location as designated.
• Makes minor repairs to tractors along highway such as replacing batteries and light bulbs, and connecting loose wires.
• Removes, bends, or cuts parts of damaged vehicles preparatory to towing.
• Abides motor vehicle regulations and insurance laws.
