About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring totes, drums, and pallets are cleaned and sanitized. The position involves removing standing water, cleaning work areas, and assisting with tote and pallet repairs. The job requires adherence to company policies and procedures, meeting productivity standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. Adaptability to changes, punctuality, and dependability are key competencies for success in this role. The company is a family-owned business that develops and manufactures custom sauces, seasonings, and dry coating systems for various food industries.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Lift 50 pounds 100-200 times during the shift.
Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Talk and hear.
Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Cleans and sanitizes totes, drums, and blue pallets.
Removes all standing water from the rooms using a squeegee or other available cleaning tool.
Cleans designated work areas.
Assists with tote and pallet repairs.
