About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring totes, drums, and pallets are cleaned and sanitized. The position involves cleaning and sanitizing totes, drums, and blue pallets, removing standing water from rooms, cleaning designated work areas, and assisting with tote and pallet repairs. The job requires adherence to safety and security procedures, maintaining productivity standards, and adapting to changes in the work environment. Punctuality and dependability are essential, as is the ability to take initiative and offer help when needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Lift 50 pounds 100-200 times during the shift
Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
Talk and hear
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Cleans and sanitizes totes, drums, and blue pallets.
Removes all standing water from the rooms using a squeegee or other available cleaning tool.
Cleans designated work areas.
