About The Position

LION TotalCare is the leader in Firefighter PPE cleaning and repair maintenance. Our NFPA-certified services help enhance firefighter safety and save Fire Departments money by extending the life of their PPE. Join us to help protect our Firefighters! LION is an international company that operates in three markets: the emergency services, military and civilian agency uniforms, and personal equipment markets. LION serves a global customer base of fire departments, military installations, institutions, corporate organizations, and training companies from multiple offices around the world.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but will accept relative industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience within a computerized warehouse, industrial laundry and/or product maintenance environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP considered a huge asset.
  • Experience managing sales representatives a bonus.
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and to meet all deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
  • Self-motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and sales of the facility with a focus on quality and customer service.
  • Ensure operational compliance with established procedures and applicable NFPA standards.
  • Efficiently maintain pickup and delivery schedule.
  • Hire, train and manage the onsite staff.
  • Manage the financials and assist with sales planning for the facility.
  • Ensure computer systems and facility equipment remain operational.
  • Resolve customer problems and provide customer service to all fire departments when needed.
  • Function as the local safety leader to include: ensuring health and safety regulations are observed, provide safety training to employees, safety audits and conducting safety meetings.
  • Monitor and evaluate the workflow to identify more efficient methods of operation.
  • Maintain and update procedure documents.
  • Other duties as needed.
