This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive total rewards programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent across the organization. You will oversee compensation, benefits, and equity programs while providing strategic insights to leadership on market trends, pay equity, and employee experience. The position requires a balance of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of employee needs to create programs that support growth and engagement. You will partner closely with business leaders, HR, and finance to ensure the total rewards strategy is scalable and competitive. Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years managing total rewards programs.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining compensation frameworks and job leveling structures.
  • Expertise in compensation benchmarking using multiple data sources (Radford, Pave, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of equity compensation (stock options, RSUs) and multi-geography pay strategies.
  • Experience managing benefits administration, including vendor and broker relationships.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Interest and experience leveraging technology, including AI, to optimize processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a scalable compensation framework and job architecture across multiple locations and role types.
  • Lead market benchmarking and pay analysis for base salary, variable compensation, and equity programs.
  • Manage benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, and disability, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with HR, finance, and business leaders to provide guidance on offers, promotions, and total rewards strategy.
  • Oversee compensation review cycles, equity programs, and budget planning to align with business objectives.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to produce actionable insights, reports, and pay equity assessments.
  • Design clear, engaging communications to help employees understand and appreciate their total rewards.
