Bobrick is hiring a Total Rewards Manager based out of our corporate headquarters in North Hollywood, CA. As a Total Rewards Manager, you are responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Bobrick's total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and leave programs. You will ensure the programs are competitive, cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, culture, and talent strategy. The Total Rewards Manager partners with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to provide data-driven recommendations that support the Bobrick's ability to attract, retain, engage, and reward employees.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
Five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, or Human Resources, including significant responsibility for compensation and benefit program design, analysis, implementation, and administration.
Experience with job analysis and evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, job classification, and compensation program administration.
Experience administering health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, open enrollment, benefit renewals, and vendor/broker relationships.
Experience working with HRIS/HCM systems and compensation market-pricing tools.
Demonstrated experience managing projects and programs involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
Experience developing and delivering employee education and communication programs related to compensation, benefits, and retirement readiness.
Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market benchmarking, salary structures, and job evaluation methodologies.
Comprehensive understanding of employee benefit and retirement programs and applicable employment and benefits laws.
Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, IRS regulations, and related compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, including advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, evaluate financial impacts, and develop actionable recommendations.
Ability to translate complex compensation, benefits, and financial information into clear recommendations and presentations for senior leadership.
Strong project management, organizational, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and collaborate across HR, Finance, Payroll, business leadership, and external partners.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Experience with UKG and Salary.com or similar systems preferred.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS); Certified Compensation Professional (CCP); SHRM Certified Professional/Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP); Professional/Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR).

Responsibilities

Develop, administer, and continuously improve the Company's compensation philosophy, programs, policies, and practices.
Develop and maintain a market-based compensation framework across Company locations, considering geographic labor markets, internal equity, external competitiveness, and business requirements.
Analyze salary surveys, market data, compensation trends, and internal pay practices to identify gaps and recommend appropriate actions.
Lead job analysis and evaluation for new and existing positions, including job descriptions, classification, market pricing, salary grades, and ranges.
Lead the annual compensation planning process, including salary structure reviews, merit budgeting, bonus and incentive planning, and recommendations to leadership.
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the cost, competitiveness, and organizational impact of proposed compensation changes.
Partner with HR and management on compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, market adjustments, and other employee changes.
Ensure compensation programs and practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including FLSA and pay transparency requirements.
Lead the development, administration, and continuous improvement of health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefit programs in support of the Company's Total Rewards strategy and employee value proposition.
Lead benefit plan evaluation and vendor management, including plan design, utilization, employee experience, market competitiveness, costing, vendor performance, negotiations, cost containment, risk management, and plan optimization.
Direct annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes, including plan evaluation, financial analysis, vendor negotiations, employee communications, and implementation.
Develop and execute benefits communication and education strategies to improve employee understanding, engagement, and utilization of available programs and resources.
Ensure benefit plans and practices comply with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, Medicare reporting requirements, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
Provide oversight and direction for employee leave and accommodation programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, paid leave, and Company leave policies, ensuring consistent administration and coordination with business operations.
Administer and coordinate the Company's workers' compensation program across U.S. locations, including claims management, carrier relationships, regulatory compliance, cost and trend analysis, reporting, process improvement, and injury-prevention efforts.
Oversee benefit financial controls, including invoice review, reconciliation, eligibility audits, and related processes to ensure accuracy and appropriate stewardship of Company resources.
Develop retirement readiness education, benefit transition resources, and planning tools in partnership with retirement plan providers and brokers to help employees understand available retirement options and programs.
Develop and execute a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy encompassing compensation, benefits, retirement, wellness, recognition, and work-life programs aligned with the Company's business objectives and talent strategy.
Assess the competitiveness and effectiveness of the Company's overall Total Rewards portfolio, monitor external market and workforce trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to executive and HR leadership.
Partner with Finance and HR leadership on Total Rewards budgeting, workforce cost modeling, forecasting, annual planning, and financial evaluation of proposed program changes.
Develop business cases and recommendations for new or modified Total Rewards programs, considering financial impact, competitive positioning, employee experience, and implementation requirements.
Develop strategies that strengthen employee understanding and appreciation of the Company's complete Total Rewards offering.
Provide Total Rewards insights and recommendations to support broader talent management, workforce planning, succession, attraction, and employee retention strategies.
Establish and maintain effective governance, controls, policies, and procedures for compensation, benefits, retirement, leave, and related Total Rewards programs to ensure consistency, accuracy, compliance, and appropriate risk management.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting Total Rewards programs and recommend appropriate policy, plan, or administrative changes.
Develop and maintain Total Rewards metrics, reporting, and analytics to evaluate program utilization, employee participation, competitiveness, cost, attraction, retention, and overall program effectiveness.
Leverage HRIS and other technology platforms to improve Total Rewards processes, reporting capabilities, data integrity, employee experience, and administrative efficiency.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation and benefits data and maintain appropriate audit, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, government filing, and plan documentation processes.
Identify compliance, financial, and operational risks within Total Rewards programs and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
Maintain current Total Rewards policies, plan documentation, procedures, and employee-facing resources.
Serve as the Company's subject matter expert on compensation, benefits, retirement, and Total Rewards practices.
Build strong partnerships with leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, business leaders, and external partners to support effective Total Rewards programs and decision-making.
Provide guidance, education, and training to managers and HR partners regarding compensation practices, benefit programs, and Total Rewards policies.
Participate in and lead HR projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
