About The Position

This role serves as a compensation expert, analyzing compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and pay equity. This role leads data accuracy and integrity by reviewing, auditing, testing, and identifying process improvements surrounding total rewards data. Additionally, the role supports small to large-scale total rewards projects through project planning, design, tracking, analytics, material creation, and implementation. Leads or supports compensation, recognition, or HR-related projects based on HR strategy and deliverables. Leads data audits and testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Manages problem resolution, database management, testing, and system functionality. Supports the compensation team with the design and implementation of compensation policies, guidelines, and programs that align with the organization’s total rewards philosophy. Manages pay structures, policies, and programs related to base pay, compensation administration, job classifications, market pricing analysis, and incentives. Ensures compensation-related changes align with the total reward philosophy based on data-driven decisions. Creates comprehensive compensation reports and analytics to ensure consistent, equitable, and market-competitive compensation delivery based on current guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ Years HR experience, with at least 5 of those in Compensation
  • Significant experience reviewing, leveling and market pricing jobs.
  • Ability to apply judgment under ambiguity to recommend balanced pay actions.
  • Ability to operationalize policy into clear, repeatable processes and training.
  • Ability to consult and educate leaders and internal partners while building strong cross-functional relationships and steering decisions within guidelines.
  • Ability to lead improvements and spot upstream data/process issues; design and socialize fixes that reduce rework and improve stakeholder experience.
  • Ability to safeguard confidentiality and compliance with sensitive data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication and professional presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of pay equity practices.
  • Project management skills.
  • Seven or more years of applicable compensation experience.
  • Experience consulting with managers, leaders, and HR Business Partners.
  • Detailed analysis and reporting experience.
  • Benchmarking and market research experience.
  • Job description review experience.
  • Project lead experience.
