Responsibilities include reviewing claim files for quality, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company procedures, approving settlement authority within established limits, and handling escalations from customers, attorneys, lienholders, and regulatory bodies. The position requires monitoring key performance metrics, conducting claim audits, assisting adjusters with negotiations, overseeing title processing and salvage disposition, and coordinating with various vendors and internal departments. Ensuring compliance with state regulations and company guidelines is crucial. The supervisor will also conduct team meetings, provide coaching and feedback, assist with training new adjusters, track staffing needs, prepare departmental metrics for management, and participate in process improvement initiatives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for complex total loss claims.
