As a Total Loss Representative, you will assist individuals who have experienced a total loss of their vehicle. Your responsibilities include evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned auto total loss claims with client/members and claimants. This role requires adherence to the total loss settlement process, monitoring rental costs, and close collaboration with appraisers, rental facilities, body shops, and salvage vendors. You will also be responsible for maintaining an effective diary system, managing file inventory, and ensuring compliance with company and state rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience with material damage claims including but not limited to auto, boats, motorcycles, and recreational equipment
  • College degree or equivalent required
  • High attention to detail
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skills and analytical ability
  • Must be PC literate and able to effectively use our systems
  • Ability to work from our office located in Lincoln, Nebraska

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
