Requirements

  • 2-3 years previous auto claims insurance handling or other auto related experience required
  • Excellent analytical organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal, written, and phone) skills
  • General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules, and regulations
  • Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed Claims Adjuster
  • Ability to use on-line claims system

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Review and determine the course of action for each assigned claim, leveraging technical expertise to support the final disposition of losses.
  • Investigate and evaluate total loss files for both insureds and third-party claimants.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on necessary documentation like signed titles to facilitate efficient salvage resolution.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and keep accurate records of each claim's activity.
  • Prioritize and organize work to ensure timely conclusions.
  • Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external customers to establish facts and gather evidence.
  • Uphold company's commitment to quality service through professional interactions with vendors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved.
