About The Position
The function of the Torque & Test Personnel is to perform torque and test operations, in accordance with applicable procedures, in a safe and efficient manner. Torque and Test Personnel report to the Supervisor-Torque and Test and exercise authority over no other employee.
Requirements
- Basic data entry ability required
- Strong attention to detail spatial awareness required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years tong/CTM experience preferred
- Knowledge of downhole tools preferred
- Ability to read assembly drawings preferred
Responsibilities
- Move accessory items in and around the torque & test shop in preparation for required Work Order/Router requirements.
- Remove protectors, clean connections, drift, etc., as required by the order to prepare products for assembly and test operations.
- Ensure that Benoit and customer specified requirements are adhered to.
- Perform assembly make-up and pressure testing of accessories as required by work instructions.
- Assist S&R personnel with the crating & loading of assemblies as required.
- Maintain the facility and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform required scheduled maintenance of all equipment used in the performance of assigned duties.
- Report to the Torque & Test Supervisor at the start of each shift for work instruction.
