The entire production process has been meticulously developed from the ground up, ensuring each transmission is built in a cleanroom environment and constructed to exacting standards through a precisely documented and controlled process. Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Torque Converter (TC) Specialist to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, assembling, repairing, and testing torque converters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of our drivetrain components.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with torque converters or in a related automotive transmission role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with drivetrain systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding, balancing, or hydraulic testing equipment is a plus.
  • ASE Certification or equivalent automotive technical training.
  • Prior experience in a remanufacturing or OEM production facility.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose torque converters for wear, damage, or failure.
  • Rebuild and assemble torque converters to meet OEM specifications and Moveras quality standards.
  • Operate specialized equipment for balancing, welding, and pressure testing torque converters.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and testing procedures.
  • Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and tools.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
