Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Topwoman for various sewer and water projects or equivalent experience required.
Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
Must understanding surveying.
Must be able to do elevation shots.
Must be able to read and understand drawings.
CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
A valid driver's license is required.
A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of fusion joining is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Conducting elevations shots, reading grade, and ensuring pipe is being properly placed in the ground.
Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
Providing continuous inspections of pipes for cracks or deficiencies.
Read and interpret blueprints, specification, and reporting.
Use and knowledge of various levels.
Oversee the water and pumps within the trenches.
