About The Position

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Tools & Techniques Architecture Exploration Lead / Market Researcher. This position will lead technology scouting and market research to identify emerging capabilities and translate mission challenges into structured problem statements. This role is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelors degree in science or engineering
• 8 years experience with DoW or similar programs
• Strong analytic and communication skills
• Experience with innovation pipelines or technology scouting programs
• Background in AI/ML, microelectronics, or digital forensics

Responsibilities

• Conduct technology scouting and market research in AI/ML, microelectronics, and digital forensics.
• Perform discovery interviews and translate challenges into Mission Model Canvases and Opportunity Documents.
• Facilitate industry engagements, assess technical proposals, and evaluate partner alignment with mission priorities.
• Provide analytical and advisory support to assist the Government in prioritizing T2 initiatives and sourcing an adequate quantity of Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) problems to feed the innovation pipeline.
• Support problem refinement through discovery interviews, assist in the creation of Mission Model Canvases (MMCs), Opportunity Documents, and problem rubrics, and validate problem needs, requirements, and impact metrics.
• Conduct market research in academic and commercial sectors to identify potential solution providers.
• Conduct Partner Alignment Assessments to review technical alignment and assist the Government in facilitating Partner Validation, providing recommendations to allocate resources effectively.
• Assist the Government with engagement with vendors on project proposals ensuring alignment with user needs, and maintain project management artifacts including quad charts, biweekly meetings, project logs.
• Act as the primary point of contact and Virtual Team Session Lead for scheduling and facilitating industry engagements, discovery calls, and vendor exploration sessions.
