About The Position
The Tools and Parts Attendant receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience and specific knowledge of tools and parts
- Familiarity with wide range of tools and equipment associated with support of tracked and wheeled vehicle maintenance effort
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted warehousing concepts such as storage layout, locator systems, and proper material handling procedures
- Must have or be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed to perform duties
- Must have a valid and current state driver’s license
- Must be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
