The Tools and Materials Logistics Technician provides site personnel with support for procurement practices, tool use, storage, inventory, and vehicle maintenance. This role involves assessing the site for procurement practices, and the use, storage, inventory, and maintenance of tools, equipment, supplies, and vehicles. The technician will develop action plans for addressing identified issues and work collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency, time management, fiscal responsibility, and accountability for Client-owned items. The position requires adaptability to rapidly changing tasks influenced by timelines, space restrictions, and safety concerns. The technician will implement preventative maintenance (PM) plans for site equipment and tools, coordinate with Client team members, vendors, and overseeing agencies to ensure compliance and safety, and make or facilitate repairs on tools and equipment. Flexibility regarding space, budget, site, and personnel needs is critical. The role also involves providing plans, estimates, and supply information, networking with site personnel, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and documenting activities using various applications and programs like Asset Essentials, Box, and Wryke.
