About The Position

Frasal Tool Co is a privately held precision machining and tooling manufacturer founded in 1972. The company specializes in custom aerospace ground-support tooling, precision components, fixtures, gauges, and complex assemblies. As a Toolmaker/Precision Machinist, you will independently manufacture and assemble precision tooling from start to finish while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Management, and other Machinists. This is not a high-volume production machine shop. Most jobs involve quantities ranging from one to a few pieces, giving you the opportunity to work on challenging, varied projects where craftsmanship, problem-solving, and creative thinking matter.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional metalworking/toolmaking experience.
Strong proficiency setting up and operating manual milling and turning equipment.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
Ability to work independently from print to completed part.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and operation sheets.
Set up and operate manual and toolroom CNC equipment, including Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, surface grinders, OD grinders, band saws, arbor presses, and ProtoTRAK mills/lathes.
Machine and assemble parts to print specifications.
Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and related equipment.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and other team members.
Troubleshoot machining and assembly challenges and determine practical solutions.
