About The Position

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Work overtime as required
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician/tooling role in a manufacturing environment
  • Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required
  • Experience operating forklift equipment
  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast pace environment
  • The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Maintenance and Repair Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to set-up and line out all Roll Fed and inline equipment in the prescribed amount of time with the prescribed material.
  • Must be able to work with less experienced operators training them on the approved safe methods of setting up and operating the machines.
  • Contribute to the ongoing effort to update and revise the machine training manuals and JSA’s.
  • Must be able to perform basic mechanical basic machine maintenance, repair tasks and PM maintenance.
  • Set-up person may be involved in the decision making process for upgrade and/or replacement of existing machinery.
  • Must be able to work closely with others for developing improvements and modification to the tools.
  • Must be able to work with sales and tool design departments with the purpose of assuring that new tools have been designed to run efficiently on WNA equipment.
  • Must be able to work closely with the Process Engineers, lead people, maintenance, operators and packers with the goal of minimizing set-up time, maximizing production efficiency and eliminating scrap.
  • Ability to make any and all adjustments to the machines as it relates to the set-up of the tooling in to production.
