About The Position
Daily tool and die fabrication including repair and preventive maintenance on production tooling and machines parts.
Requirements
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and blueprints.
- Use machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, welders and CNC equipment.
- Fit and assemble parts.
- Test tools and dies.
- Inspect worn tools/dies.
- Troubleshoot issues to restore dies/tools to working condition.
- Make tooling to replace and restock for perishable tooling.
- Complete jobs within assigned time.
- Work safely and use all proper PPE and guarding.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and blueprints to plan tool and die creation.
- Use machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, welders and CNC equipment to cut and shape metal.
- Fit and assemble parts, then test tools and dies to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Inspect worn tools/dies, troubleshoot issues to restore dies/tools to working condition.
- Make tooling to replace and restock for perishable tooling.
- Complete jobs within assigned time for each job.
- Work safely and use all proper PPE and guarding.
