About The Position

Operate and maintain F-22 Mod Tools and related equipment, to include acquisition, acceptance, storage, and distribution to multiple Modification sites (Depots and Field Teams), to include workshare partners. Track, maintain and replace Consolidated Tool Kits (CTKs), various support equipment and bench stock. Specifics include: - Disburse tooling in accordance with established systems. - Support Depot and Field Teams, location distribution will be shipped using "best shop practices". - Maintain established stock-level controls and place requisitions utilizing the System Acquisition Plan (SAP) and MAXIMO systems for asset management. - Plan, coordinate, and direct, and / or perform engineering assignments involving specifications for, and design changes or alterations to, aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment. - Investigate and analyze project requirements and operating problems and develops recommended solutions to meet company, site and governmental safety and performance standards including: Minimum Equipment List (MEL); evaluates, selects, applies, and/or adapts engineering modifications; designs or recommends new or modified parts and components; analyzes reparability of parts and components; evaluates operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature removals; analyze and evaluate aircraft and associated equipment proposals; prepares technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications. - Obtain and use, as required a P-Card to purchase small, batch items in support of Mod tooling operations. - Prepare and maintain necessary statuses, shortage, and other reports and records as required utilizing the Miscellaneous Small Parts (MSP) book. - Maintain established stock levels in support of Mod operations and obtain material for indicated shortages by using SAP or MAXIMO for asset management. - Duties shall also include inventory control, inventory reports, inventory inspections, preparing for and participating in any audits, and Mod Kit management duties. - Ship and receive calibrated tooling and track calibration due dates, in accordance with QA requirements and the Fort Worth calibration lab. - Receive tools and materials from Depots and Field Teams for storage using MAXIMO to document assets in / out activities. - Prepare and maintain necessary statuses, shortages, and other reports and records as required and provide monthly to the F-22 Depots and Field Teams. - Perform light ops checks on equipment for readiness to support requirements. - Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) in support of Mod Tooling.

Requirements

  • Any engineering degree, mechanical degree or similar degree from an accredited school
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Access, Excel, Power Point and Word)
  • Ability to travel between FTW Plant, CEVA and Other local FM/ sites, as required
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Security Clearance
  • Be a self-starter with great communication skills
  • Ability to lift (up to) 50 lbs
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration of security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP and MAXIMO systems
  • Familiarity with Tableau
  • Basic Electronic knowledge, such power on and off checks, systems check, functional checks of Mod Tools
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics
  • Veteran / Working knowledge of military terms and phrases
  • Familiarity with the FM/ Plant
  • Familiarity with the F-35 Aircraft, specifically structures experience
