About The Position

Tooling, Fixture and Process Design per customer requirements. Development, Debugging and Improvement for tooling processing. Designs, integrates, or improves manufacturing systems or related processes.

Requirements

• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Complex problem solving
• Judgment and decision making
• Systems analysis
• AutoCAD, Solid Works or other equivalent design software
• Research and implement new technologies.
• Technology design
• Time management

Responsibilities

• Design & development of tooling designs
• Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.
• Determines root causes of failures and recommends changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
• Incorporates new methods and processes to improve existing operations.
• Troubleshoots new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
• Reviews product designs for manufacturability or completeness.
• Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
• Designs, installs, or troubleshoots manufacturing equipment.
