Arnold Magnetic Technologies is a leading global manufacturer of high-performance permanent magnets, flexible composites, electromagnets, magnetic assemblies, and precision thin metal foils. Arnold’s magnets, metals, and systems are used in high-efficiency electric motors and generators, sensors, batteries, and more. This role involves performing highly diversified and complex work, including setting up and operating all standard machine tools on progressive machining operations for parts, equipment, and tools, which may include experimental and development work. The machinist will plan, lay out, and perform necessary operations using sketches, blueprints, or other instructions to construct, alter, or repair tools, dies, fixtures, and special purpose equipment. They will utilize Machine Shop equipment such as Milling machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, O.D. Grinders, and Saws. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of inspection equipment like Calipers, Indicators, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Digital Read Outs. Other related duties may be assigned.
