About The Position

The Tooling and Unfinished Spares Attendant/Driver is responsible for the organization, tracking, inspection, and transportation of tooling and unfinished spare parts. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring materials are properly maintained, accurately documented, and delivered in a timely manner. The position requires safe operation of vehicles and equipment, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the El Cajon, CA location.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of safe driving practices.
  • Ability to be trained and certified in forklift operation.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (must be insurable).
  • Ability to successfully complete certification in Industrial Truck Safety (Forklift Training) in compliance with CCR Title 8, Section 3668.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (citizen or national of the United States; lawful permanent resident; or admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).

Responsibilities

  • Follow all written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of tooling and unfinished spares storage areas.
  • Safely operate a forklift in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Transport, deliver, and pick up tools and unfinished spare parts as required.
  • Inspect tools and components for defects, damage, or missing parts; report discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of tooling and unfinished spares using computer systems (Excel, Word, or equivalent).
  • Ensure proper documentation of all material movement and inventory transactions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
