About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. As a CNC Machine Operator Apprentice, you will learn the fundamentals of operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery used to manufacture precision aerospace components. This hands-on apprenticeship provides the opportunity to gain technical experience under the guidance of skilled machinists and supervisors while completing structured on-the-job training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus.
Basic knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
Willingness to learn manual machining techniques and CNC operations.
Ability to work with saws, grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T and precision measurements.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate CNC milling and turning machines safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Assist with setup and tool changes under supervision.
Follow quality and production processes to meet aerospace requirements.
Participate in ongoing classroom and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program.
Maintain and organize toolroom equipment, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
