About The Position

Power Line Supply is seeking a full-time Tool Repair Technician to join the growing team!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic tool repair is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling materials, tools, supplies, and test equipment in a safe and organized manner.
  • Disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble mechanical and hydraulic tools.
  • Perform assembly and repair of mechanical grounds.
  • Conduct testing of PPE, including gloves, sleeves, blankets, line hoses, hoods, and related equipment.
  • Execute stamping, marking, and packaging of PPE in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Adhere to all applicable testing standards, including ASTM, ANSI, NAIL, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret technical prints, schematics, and diagrams to support repair and testing processes.
  • Perform testing of hot line tools and grounds both in the facility and at customer job sites as needed.
  • Conduct dielectric testing of insulated buckets and liners.
  • Assist with tool inventory management, including tracking, organization, and reporting.
  • Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
