About The Position

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team as a Tool Prep Tech at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The Tool Prep Techs primary responsibility is to set up and operate conventional and special purpose machines to clean production tooling. Requirements

Experience using a micrometer, vernier calipers, ice cleaning equipment, drill press and other production tools
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

Hands on mechanical experience

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals
Maintain and secure work tools
Clean and maintain facility production tooling
Clean and maintain a safe work area
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on tooling
Troubleshoot and recognize damage on tooling
Use a micrometer, vernier calipers, ice cleaning equipment, drill press and other production tools
Work with Supervisors, engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve tool cleaning problems
Develop specs from a general description and draw a sketch of the part to be fabricated
