About The Position
Performs manual, N/C, grinding, and presetting of cutting tools in accordance with operation sheets, tool set-up sheets, or drawings. Applies knowledge of cutting tool geometry and measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of related work experience in tool grinding / pre-setting of cutting tools.
- Knowledge of and experience with the use of precision measuring equipment, machining tools and grinding wheels.
- Ability to correctly interpret blue prints and other drawings.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints
- Ability to work within specified safety requirements at all times (e.g. PPE).
