About The Position
DPP is seeking a Tool Engineer 3 for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry. This is a 4-month W2 position located onsite in Palmdale, CA, with a 9x80 A work shift. The Tool Engineer 3 will support the Tooling department by designing industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering factors such as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Professional engineering certificate
- Ability to perform stress analysis and stamp it
- Experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Experience in Aerospace Tooling
- Experience with CATIA v5
- Experience in professional engineering
Nice To Haves
- Experience with utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems
- Experience with Femap
