Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2+ years of machine shop or manufacturing experience
Experience operating manual machining equipment
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Technical training in Tool & Die, Machining, or Manufacturing Technology
CNC machining experience
Basic CNC programming knowledge
Experience repairing and rebuilding tooling
Experience with OD/ID grinding or jig grinding
High-speed manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Machine, repair, and fabricate tooling, dies, fixtures, and replacement parts
Operate manual and CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related machinery
Perform precision machining on ferrous, non-ferrous, and composite materials
Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment
Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
Support tooling rebuilds, refurbishments, and continuous improvement projects
Maintain tooling inventory and prepare tool sets for production
Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
