Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training required.
- 2 or more years of fabrication experience required.
- Proficient and certified in MIG welding required.
- Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Perform basic repair process of golf carts and heavy equipment bodies, frames, and related components.
- Read and interpret requested fabricated blueprints.
- Assist in training team members to meet established fabrication specifications.
- Create and test prototypes racking systems when standard methods do not apply.
- Fabricate templates for bending, shaping, and bracing metal structures.
- Utilize manual machine (Press, Lathe, etc.) tools to create basic components as required.
- Set-up and maintain use of portable burning/heating torches and plasma cutters.
- Perform routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as required.
- Operate a wide variety of thread types and sizes and utilize basic torque techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
