About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS. Shift is for Friday, Sat & Sun from 7:00am to 7:30pm The Tool Crib Attendant will receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED.
  • Tool Crib Attendant Level 1: 0 year experience in a tool crib, maintenance/manufacturing environment, or inventory control role.
  • Tool Crib Attendant Level 2: 2 year experience in a tool crib, maintenance/manufacturing environment, or inventory control role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Able to work standing up for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required.
  • Ability to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations to include hand tools & power equipment and climb ladders or stairs.
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance per company and business needs.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access (PAR) per company and business needs.

  • Able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.
  • Experienced with data entry, and using digital scanners for tool control or inventory accountability.
  • Experienced in maintaining records and providing traceability of materials.
  • Experience working in a tool crib and/or production related environment.
  • Experience and comfortability with using forklifts.
  • Knowledge of SAP, CribMaster and/or similar tool control software systems.
  • Knowledge of calibrated tools and processes.
