The Tool Crib Attendant I is responsible for issuing, receiving, and storing hand tools and other equipment. This role involves maintaining an inventory of tools, inspecting tools and equipment for wear or defects, and ordering new equipment when needed. The attendant also maintains records of tool use. This position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
