Superior Completion Services is excited to announce that we are seeking a Tool Assembler II for our Office in Houston, TX. In this hands-on role, you’ll take charge of teardown, maintenance, and assembly of critical service tools while keeping a clean, organized workspace that supports fast, high-quality operations. You’ll also assemble saleable equipment and flow-control valves, ensuring every product meets our high standards for Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry with Tool Assembly experience.
  • Proficient in the operation of forklift, H.P. test pump, and hydraulic press
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations
  • Basic math skills
  • Computer skills needed for data entry and reporting
  • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
  • Understanding written statements in work-related documents
  • Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and recommend solutions
  • Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company Safety and Security policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, Job Safety Analysis, and Take 5 Safety initiatives.
  • Report injuries, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to a Manager or Supervisor immediately.
  • Assembly and Disassembly of equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Follow all Quality Procedures for the Preservation, Packaging, and Storage of Products
  • Adhere to on-call/off-call work schedule, being available on short notice around the clock and on-call week.
  • Carry out daily activities with the Supervisor and/or Manager to ensure the quality and quantity of work meet performance expectations as set by Management
  • Participate in training and cross-training within other areas to utilize labor efficiently and to prevent downtime or disruption to operations.
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
  • Ensure that service tool components are cleaned, oil-dipped, soft-assembled, and properly staged.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of tool baskets.
  • Perform pressure testing on various tools per SOP’s.
