We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tool and Die Manager-Engineer with experience in stamping to support our Procurement organization. This role involves managing all aspects of multi-million-dollar supply-based tooling for assigned commodities throughout the lifecycle of pre-production, production, and service, including engineering changes, refurbishment, and tooling relocations. In this role, you will manage the full tooling lifecycle, including financials, design reviews, construction, technical guidance, try-outs, commissioning, and build event support. You will ensure tooling and process capabilities meet cost, quality, and timing requirements to achieve program goals. Collaborating with suppliers and cost reduction teams, you will identify cost-saving opportunities. You will also interface with internal and external customers, such as Supply Managers, Purchasing Program Managers, Quality Managers, and Product Development Engineers, to ensure effective communication and project success. Additionally, you will manage material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, and vendor selection, while creating integrated processes that connect internal functions and external suppliers to optimize operations. This role is within the Supply Chain Management function and involves a combination of disciplines.
