Requirements
- 2 year trade school program or equivalent.
- Journeyman’s Card.
- 5+ year’s previous experience in building new metal stamping and progressive dies.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift material up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Building new and repairing of existing die consisting of progressive dies, jigs and fixtures
- Holds extremely close tolerances, which will reduce the cost and improve the speed and quality of various production operations
- Lays out and performs bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies, jigs, fixtures and special tools
- Performs tool and die maintenance and repairman duties
- Verifies quality and print specifications are met
- Other duties as assigned
