Tool and Die Maker CNC
About The Position
Responsible for all aspects of build and final assembly of progressive dies and fixtures. This role requires the ability to work with little to no supervision. The die maker must be able to operate all tool room equipment, including CNC machines, and troubleshoot most tooling issues. The position involves working within close tolerances of +/- .0002. Additionally, the role requires identifying opportunities to improve product and reduce cost, running and setting up CNC Mills, and programming basic work at the machine. A strong knowledge and understanding of feed and speed required to cut various materials is essential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 + years' experience in machining or similar.
- Mechanical aptitude (measuring with Vernier's and Micrometers).
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
Responsibilities
