The Learning Experience Longwood is looking for a toddler teacher who is genuinely excited to be part of the curiosity, wobbly first steps into independence, mess, and little breakthroughs that feel huge. The role involves designing hands-on lessons, guiding early social and emotional growth, and helping the littlest learners build the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with toddlers in an early childhood setting
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- A solid understanding of child development principles
- Clear, friendly communication with children, families, and teammates alike
- Patience, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for the beautiful chaos of the toddler years
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities rooted in play-based learning
- Create a safe, warm classroom where toddlers feel secure enough to explore and try new things
- Nurture social skills and emotional growth through everyday moments and interactions
- Track developmental milestones and keep families in the loop with updates that matter
- Partner with fellow teachers to swap ideas and strengthen our curriculum together
- Keep your classroom clean, organized, and inviting a space toddlers love walking into
