About The Position

The Goddard School of Parkland is seeking a fun, nurturing, and creative Toddler Teacher who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. If you are warm, patient, and love working with curious little learners, we would love to meet you! Our Toddler Teachers create a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom where children can explore, grow, and develop confidence. Through our play-based Wonder of Learning® curriculum, you will guide toddlers as they investigate the world around them, build independence, and reach important developmental milestones.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting (Infant, Toddler, or Floater Teacher)
Strong understanding of early childhood development
Energetic, dependable, and a true team player
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth

Nice To Haves

Associate degree (Preferred)
1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and early learning
Support key toddler milestones including language development, social skills, and potty training
Foster a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
Maintain active supervision at all times and ensure compliance with licensing ratios and safety standards
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to create a strong, supportive team environment
Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and daily experiences
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom
