About The Position
Brella, established in 2019, is transforming childcare with a flexible model designed for modern families while ensuring optimal developmental experiences for children. We are seeking a Toddler Teacher for our Hollywood location to work with 18-24 month olds. This role is ideal for someone excited about building a new childcare model that meets varying family needs and delivers high-quality experiences for children. Requirements
- At least 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma
- 12 Early Childhood Education units including 3 units specific to infant care (Required by Licensing)
- At least 12+ months of experience working in a licensed child care facility
- Must meet the requirements of the California Department of Social Services / Licensing

- Experience with play-based curriculum inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and loving environment for children in collaboration with co-teachers
- Model empathy through respect, response, and gentle guidance
- Engage children with age-appropriate, stimulating, and thoughtful materials
- Plan and implement Brella curriculum and develop daily modifications as needed per age group or emergent class interests
- Ensure target curriculum engagement/quality elements are being achieved
- Keep the classroom safe by following procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate and communicate respectfully with coworkers, fostering positive relationships and center culture
- Communicate effectively with families during drop off/pick ups
- Provide curriculum and development updates to families
