About The Position
Help toddlers learn and grow in a welcoming, play-based early learning center. This faith-based program is seeking two caring teachers who enjoy building relationships with young children and their families. A lead classroom opportunity may be available for a qualified candidate.
Requirements
- Experience caring for or teaching toddlers in a group setting.
- A patient, dependable approach to early childhood education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet applicable Minnesota child care licensing requirements.
- For a lead assignment, qualifications to serve as a teacher in a Minnesota licensed child care center.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain them.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, warm, engaging toddler classroom.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate play and learning activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, language, and physical development.
- Guide daily routines, including meals, transitions, and personal care.
- Communicate with families about each child’s day and progress.
- Work closely with classroom staff and follow licensing requirements.
- If assigned as lead, guide classroom planning and daily activities.
