About The Position
Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville at our new Harrison Bridge location as a Toddler Teacher. In this exciting role, you will nurture and inspire young minds, creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 1-3 years.
Requirements
- Minimum Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging young learners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's growth and milestones.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Encourage social interaction and emotional development among toddlers.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
