About The Position

The Learning Experience seeks an Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher to help create opportunities that reflect its mission of making a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. Teachers use a growth mindset to support children’s development and inspire a love of learning. The role involves leading classroom management and creating a safe, nurturing, engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children. The teacher implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways suited to each child’s needs, communicates with families about children’s experiences and achievements, and works with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals. The franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional teaching experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model and use a growth mindset to support children’s development and love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in ways consistent with each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
