About The Position
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth. This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child relationships.
Requirements
- TECE 1 or TECE 2 required
- Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior toddler classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines for toddler-aged children
- Encourage language development and positive social interaction
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals and classroom routines
- Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
- Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements
