About The Position

Chambliss Center for Children – Red Bank is looking for two experienced, caring, and dependable Toddler Teachers to join our team! If you have a couple of years of classroom experience and love helping toddlers learn, explore, and develop their independence, we’d love to meet you!

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Patient, dependable, energetic, and compassionate.
Able to communicate professionally with children, families, and coworkers.
Someone who understands that working with toddlers takes both patience and a good sense of humor!

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience working in an early childhood classroom is strongly preferred.
CDA or higher education in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
Build positive relationships with children while supporting their growing independence and emerging skills.
Maintain consistent routines for meals, diapering/toileting, naps, transitions, and play.
Observe children and communicate important developmental, behavioral, and health information to families and supervisors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Work collaboratively with co-teachers and other members of the center team.
Follow all Chambliss Center policies and Tennessee Department of Human Services licensing requirements.
