About The Position

Toddler/Preschool Teacher | Early Childhood Educator | Full-Time Do you love helping young children learn, grow, and discover the world around them? We're looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you'll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can build confidence, develop social-emotional skills, and reach important developmental milestones through play-based learning. Requirements

  • Dual EEC Teacher Certification required (Infant/Toddler and Preschool)
  • Ability to meet state licensing, background check, and employment requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with toddlers, preschool-aged children, or in an early childhood education setting preferred
  • EEC Teacher Certification (or ability to obtain certification) preferred for Massachusetts candidates
  • Passion for supporting children's growth, development, and learning through play-based experiences
  • Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members
  • Dependable, positive, and collaborative approach to working with others
  • Ability to observe, supervise, and actively engage with children throughout the day
  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices preferred
  • Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to learn
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members through open and respectful communication
  • Supervise children at all times while maintaining a safe classroom and playground environment
  • Support children's independence, problem-solving skills, and positive behavior through developmentally appropriate guidance
  • Observe and document children's progress, milestones, and developmental needs as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, rest time, diapering or toileting, transitions, and classroom activities as appropriate
  • Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and team meetings
  • Create meaningful learning experiences through play-based curriculum and child-led exploration
