Toddler Classroom Assistant
About The Position
Knoxville Montessori School is seeking a Toddler Classroom Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports the Lead Guide in maintaining a prepared Montessori toddler environment that serves the physical, social, emotional, language, and developmental needs of young children. The Toddler Classroom Assistant plays an important role in supporting independence, care of self, toileting, classroom routines, transitions, regulation, and care of the environment. A central part of this role is supporting toilet learning with consistency, dignity, patience, and respect for the child’s growing independence. The ideal candidate is warm, steady, observant, patient, and comfortable supporting young children with toileting, dressing, handwashing, hygiene, snack, outdoor play, and daily routines. This person should value Montessori philosophy, child-centered education, and the belief that even very young children are capable when given the right environment and support.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
