The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our 1-year-old program at our Murray Hill location. This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has 13 classrooms, all equipped with phones, Apple iPad’s & Bluetooth speakers, a fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts, an on-site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown. Requirements
- An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
