Toddler Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our Toddler (1 and 2-year-old) program at our Stuytown location. This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has 15 classrooms, all equipped with phones, Apple iPads & Bluetooth speakers, a fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts, an on-site indoor gym, and private outdoor play spaces. We are looking for kind, compassionate, reliable, and professional individuals who want to work for a prestigious and fun school where they are appreciated. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
- Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
